Battery

The electricity generation of the SPS system stops at sunset and/or when the solar radiation due to weather conditions cannot reach the panels sufficiently or at all. The electricity produced when solar radiation allows electricity generation can be stored in batteries and used in periods when electricity is not produced. Generally, lead carbon, lead acid, gel, VRLA Deep Discharge or Lithium Ion batteries are used in solar systems.
